Add announcement on the web

  1. Click the settings icon on the top right corner of the left panel

  2. Click New announcement > fill out all the details

  3. Choose where you want this to be announced. Enable pin announcement if you want it to be pinned in every circle and circle announcement will only be pinned to your chosen circle.

  4. Click Save

Note: To edit your announcement: Just hover over the announcement and click the pencil icon on the right

Add announcement on mobile

  1. Click the settings icon on the top right corner

  2. Click Announcements

  3. Fill out all the details > New announcement

  4. Choose where you want this to be announced. Enable pin announcement for community-wide announcement and circle announcement will only be pinned to your chosen circle.

  5. Click Create

You can also create a circle-specific announcement by clicking the circle > Click the vertical ellipses on the upper-right corner> Announcements > Fill out all the details > Create

Note: To edit your announcement: Simply select the announcement > Click the vertical ellipses on the top right corner > Click Edit

Setting community guidelines

Community guidelines are the welcome message that all users will see when they join the community. It will have an overview of what your community is all about and reminders that you want to highlight to keep your community safe for everyone.

  1. On the web app go to the settings of your community and click Announcements

  2. Fill out all the details > click Save

  3. Hover over the announcement and click the notebook icon found on the right side. This will set your announcement as the community guideline. Once you've done you will see the announcement labeled as "Guidelines"
